Many riders struggle to find the optimal position on their bike without ever realizing it – making their body work harder and burning unnecessary fuel. My training combines scientific research and professional experience to dial in the right individual fit for optimal power and efficiency.
Understanding the Body
A typical fit session begins with a series of questions about the type of training and racing you perform, as well as any unique biomechanical issues you may be experiencing. We examine key contact points and other indicators – shoes, feet, cleats, flexibility, and riding style – and examine your current riding position for any abnormalities.
Reducing Your Metabolic Cost
An optimal bike fit can minimize your total metabolic cost, thus lowering the required heart rate and oxygen necessary to sustain a given power output. Our research and countless fit sessions have been able to determine the optimal biomechanical ranges and adjustments that help athletes produce more power while expending less energy.
